Sorry, I don't mean to cut off anyone's livelihood. For those of you who want to stay here, you'd better think twice. It's far from the food stalls, there are lots of mosquitoes, it's hot, there's no air conditioning, and the bathrooms are separate. Also, it's better to rent a motorbike near the harbor so you can get around easily without having to be picked up by a car. The price is the same as renting a motorbike for 4 days there.
We tried some local food with cooked banana flower or heart, it was amazing !
Mas david and his mother were very welcoming and so nice
Incredible place. Yaya welcomed us in this simple and so beautiful place. Small local huts, hamacs, grass, sand and shadow.
You can stay forever on this beach, below the coconut trees.
The snorkeling is even really good.
We definitely spent the best part of our trip there.
The location is great; very quiet and chilling vibes with a beachfront view, the room was quite nice but overcharged via booking almost double the original price they sell it for a night, but it was clean and well prepared for the check-in; the service and hospitality is poorly conducted and managed; no room service was offered for 4 nights, basic breakfast, and just a passive group of workers on their phones all day and you have to ask more than once for stuff to get done; excluding the kitchen cooks; make sure not be humble and bring back any plates and break them by accident as they will over charge you for it. Also dont expect any proactive communication that no one to will be around after 5pm unless you inform them that you need dinner or any kind of help hours before. Also be sure to bring some petrol with you if you plan to rent a motorcycle as they will always be almost empty without any warning. To be fair; it wasnt all bad, but the bad outweighed the good for sure.
Stayed here for three days...wished to stay longer! Absolutely stunning location directly at the sea, really quiet and with lovely hammocks and outside seating areas.
The small houses are simple with just a mattress on the floor and a shared shower and toilet, but it was more than enough because we were outside the whole day anyways (I definitely recommend renting scooters to get around the island).
The staff doesn't speak English well, but they always tried their best if we needed anything. Also there is a small restaurant and they offer snorkeling tours or snorkeling gear for rent.
